Welcome to our Guild

The Quilters Guild of the Southern Crescent is a group of people who get together for fellowship, education, and sharing the pleasure of quilting. Our members come mostly from the "crescent" area south of Atlanta, but some come from as far away as Marietta or North Georgia. Anyone interested in quilting is welcome, whatever their skill level. Even if you don't know how to quilt but would like to learn, feel free to come and join us.

Meeting Date and Time

The Quilters Guild of the Southern Crescent meets the fourth Thursday of each month, except in November and December, when we meet on the Third Thursdays.

The meeting time is 7:00 p.m. at the Fayette Presbyterian Church on Highway 92 in Fayetteville. 

 

Our Next Meeting

Our next meeting will be on Thursday,  July 31st.  Our program will be a techniques demo night. Maria Easler is going to be showing crazy quilt techniques; Sherri Curtis will be doing a cutting demo, Judy Mahfood a triangle project and Joan Willcocks a pillowcase demonstration.
  

The Fat Quarter theme for July is "Vacation fabric."

The Block of the Month for July is "Trudy's Garden-Block #6 - Rosebuds."

The Monthly Mini for July was made by Cleme Cosby.

  • If your last name begins with  W, X, Y and Z  bring Snacks.
